What's New
The Fall 2008 issue of EBA's Newsletter, EBA Update, is now available on-line. As discussed in the President's message, the theme this quarter is membership and we ask that each member meet our "one new member" challenge. This issue of the EBA Update includes an in-depth interview with Susan Court, Director of FERC's Office of Enforcement. We have posted on the website a copy of the organizational chart for the Office of Enforcement. Our series on former FERC Commissioners continues with an interview of former FERC Commissioner James John "Jim" Hoecker. There are also updates on the CFEBA and FELJ, as well as a schedule of upcoming events and a look back at the Energy Law Journal. Finally, the Newsletter remembers Paul Nordstrom, an EBA past President and first President and Co-Founder of the CFEBA, who passed away recently. All past issues of the Newsletter, and all past interview videos, are available on the website.
User ID and Password
Certain limited portions of the EBA website, such as the membership directory and website payment functions, require a username and password for access.
Your username is simply your last name. Your password is your four-digit EBA membership number.
Your membership number/password may be quickly, and automatically retrieved by clicking here.
You will be asked for your e-mail address. So long as the computer finds your e-mail address on file with the EBA, your membership number/password will be immediately e-mailed by EBA's computer to you, any time, day or night.
Court Opinion Summaries
The summary for 2005 energy related court opinions is now available. The summary features handy electronic links
to the full versions of each opinion. We have also added to the web site an archive of all
the past years' opinion summaries that we had in electronic format. They are each word searchable,
so not only are the latest year’s summaries a good way to keep up, together the summaries are a
quick research tool. A complete, up-to-date, word-searchable set of the
tables of contents
of the ELJ is also a useful research tool.
Charitable Foundation Updates
The CFEBA plans to sponsor a Legal Intern at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission during the Summer of
2009. If interested please visit the Interships & Scholarships section.
Calendar
A comprehensive calendar of all EBA and related organization activities
is now available on-line. As is the EBA President’s Annual
Report to EBA Members.

Incremental changes and additions are
frequently made this web site, but a more thorough face-lift for the web site is currently
under consideration. While we always seek members’ suggestions as to how this web site can
