DWGP accepts applications for summer associate positions from 2L (day) or 3L (evening) students for summer employment in our Washington, D.C. office. Summer associates at DWGP perform research, draft client memoranda, draft pleadings, support attorneys at FERC, in court and at settlement conferences and participate in telephonic and in-person client conferences. The small firm environment at DWGP allows summer associates to perform tasks substantially similar to those of a first year associate.

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in administrative law, energy law or environmental law. DWGP seeks motivated students with law review or moot court participation who maintain a minimum of a B+ average or are in the top half of their class.
