On April 9th, Jeff Genzer gave a presentation to a webinar/conference call sponsored by the Bipartisan Policy Center. Jeff’s presentation was on the topic of state and local government perspectives on energy-related stimulus proposals. He offered “lessons learned” from the 2008-2009 experiences with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Jeff briefed the call participants on the advantages of having stimulus funds targeted through existing programs, such as the State Energy Program, the Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program and the State Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program. There have been extensive discussions in Washington, D.C. on a new round of stimulus proposals. If you have any questions, please contact Jeffrey C. Genzer.
